Study of properties of 6,7He heavy isotopes of hydrogen
“6H states studied in the 2H(8He,4He) reaction and evidence of an extremely correlated character of the 5H ground state” (authors: E. Yu. Nikolskii, I. A. Muzalevskii, A. A. Bezbakh, V. Chudoba, S. A. Krupko, et al.) article recently published in Physical Review C journal concerns the study of properties of 6,7H heavy isotopes of hydrogen.
Exploiting the benefits of ACCULINNA-II radioactive nuclei beams the authors discovered a wide maximum in 6H spectrum at 4-8 MeV energy above the 3H+3n 4-body decay threshold.
This work along with the previously published results of the study of 7H state spectrum sheds light on the properties of 6,7H insufficiently studied exotic systems and demonstrates ACCULINNA-2@U400M complex high scientific potential.
