This year marks the 150th anniversary of D.I.Mendeleev’s Periodic Table of Chemical Elements. UN and UNESCO proclaimed 2019 the International Year of the Periodic Table (IYPT).

Program of our seminar is connected with this event as well. Synthesis of new elements, study of their properties are among the topical problems of physics of atomic nuclei and the heaviest atoms. The SHE Factory was recently put into operation at FLNR JINR. For this reason the further development of studies of superheavy elements on the edge of the Periodic Table will be discussed in this report.
