Meeting of the RAS Council on heavy-ion physics 2022

Heavy Ion Physics meeting will be held in St.Petersburg, “Saint Petersburg” hotel on July 04-08, 2022 as a RAS Council topical meeting.

This meeting concerns theoretical, experimental and engineering problems of using heavy ions to study atomic nuclei properties. The results of “Superheavy nuclei and atoms: nuclei mass limits and D.I.Mendeleev Periodic Table boundaries” Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation grant funded research will be discussed. FLNR Superheavy Element Factory is one of the most remarkable achievements here.

The reports will be mostly about SHE Factory research. Some questions of ROSATOM and JINR cooperation will be discussed as well.

Awarding G.N.Flerov Prize will be a special issue of the program.

This year marks FLNR 65th anniversary. RAS Academician Yuri Tsolakovich Oganessian, FLNR JINR Scientific Leader is the Chairman of the Council.
