G.N.FLEROV Prize 2010

The Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) awards the G. N. Flerov prize for outstanding research in nuclear physics. The contest is for individual participants only. The prize, established in 1992 in memory of the eminent physicist Georgy Nikolaevich Flerov (1913-1990), rewards contributions to nuclear physics related to Flerov’s interests.

In 2010 the contest for G.N.Flerov Prize for outstanding research in nuclear physics was announced by JINR to mark the year of the 70th anniversary of the discovery of spontaneous fission by Georgy Nikolaevich Flerov and Konstantin Petrzhak.

The prize has to be awarded in March 2010.
