Correlations in multinucleon transfer reactions
In this talk, we present our recent results on the effect of nucleon correlations in the two-particle transfer reactions concerning the two-neutron, two-proton, and proton-neutron (deuteron) transfer reactions. The aim is to show the symmetries of the two-body nuclear interactions. The study is extended to multinuclear transfer reactions, considering up to four nucleons, with a particular emphasis on the 3He, 3H, and alpha transfer reactions. Some possible applications to heavier cluster transfers, such as the 6Li transfer reactions, are also illustrated. It is also shown how the correct inclusion of the structure on the nuclei can influence the cross-section of different nuclear reactions, especially in the case of the nuclei formed by a “conglomerate of alpha particles”.
