The samples of three different types of ferritic steel such as AISI410S normal and Сr16ODS and EP450ODS dispersion-reinforced alloys were uniformly helium doped up to 0.2 and 1 at. % and vacuum annealed at 1023K.
Further PEM studies showed different gas-porosity behavior in them: bimodal distribution of gas bubbles close to grain boundaries in AISI410S and Сr16ODS alloys and uniform bubble growth all over the volume in EP450ODS alloy.
