Screening of “Element of Knowledge” film and discussion with Yuri Oganessian
On April 18, 2025 at 18:00 the JINR “Mir” Culture Center invites visitors to the creative meeting with Yuri Oganessian and screening of “Element of Knowledge” documentary devoted to a living legend alive, world-famous scientist, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, scientific leader of Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reaction.
In the film Yuri Tsolakovich tells about his life and a path in science, about the search for the Island of Stability of super heavy elements and the Factory of Superheavy Elements of Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions. One of the questions that this documentary answers is “What element of destiny or character allows a person to achieve a million people’s dream – how to leave a mark in eternity?”
