Meeting with President of Armenia
On April 29, in Yerevan, Grigory Trubnikov, academician of the RAS, JINR Director and Yuri Oganessian, academician of the RAS, Scientific Leader of FLNR JINR were received by Vahagn Khachaturyan, President of Armenia, JINR member state.
The high meeting was held within the “Science brings nations together” discussion of the International Conference “Heaviest nuclei and atoms” dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Yuri Oganessian and held under the auspices of the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics at the National Academy of Sciences of Republic of Armenia (NAS RA) from April 25 to 29, 2023 .
A wide range of issues on strengthening and expanding of scientific and cultural cooperation was discussed during the meeting. In particular, development of the existing potential in the field of high technologies and other areas of science as well as the elaboration of a substantive agenda of cooperation were spoken about.
