“Meridian of interaction” lecture series
”The First star. The birth of the new interaction” historical and archival exhibition to the 70th anniversary of the Institute works at DK ”Mir” up to June 1st. You can visit it alone or with an excursion group.
You are also invited to “Meridian of interaction” lecture series for the exhibition.
Lectures will be held in April-June at the House of scientists. All lectures start at 18:00.
The lectures will expand the context of the exhibition and demonstrate that search for new interactions was conducted far beyond the nuclear laboratory. In the focus on new connections, contacts, relationships endowing with both meaning and value in the mid-1950s not only the outlines of the Thaw, to which JINR by full right belongs, but also the contours of the post-war world are emerging. That was the time when humanity was re-learning to look to the future with hope and physics created the ideal language for this – the language of interaction.

Историко-архивная выставка “Первая звезда. Рождение нового взаимодействия”, приуроченная к 70-летию Института, работает в ДК “Мир” до 1 июня. Вы можете посетить её самостоятельно или в составе экскурсионной группы.
Приглашаем вас также на цикл лекций к выставке, который носит название “МЕРИДИАН ВЗАИМОДЕЙСТВИЯ”.
Лекции будут проходить в апреле-июне в Доме ученых. Начало всех лекций: 18:00.
В лекциях будет расширен контекст выставки и показано, что поиск новых взаимодействий велся далеко за пределами ядерной лаборатории. В ориентации на новые связи, контакты, отношения, наделяемые в середине 1950-х и смыслом, и ценностью, проступают не только очертания оттепели, которой по полному праву принадлежит ОИЯИ, но и контуры послевоенного мира. Это было время, когда человечество заново училось смотреть в будущее с надеждой, а физика дала ему для этого идеальный язык – язык взаимодействия.
