Delegation of People’s Republic of China at FLNR

On September 11, 2023 the first meeting of the Joint coordination committee was held within the protocol of the Ministry of Science and Higher education of Russia, Ministry of Science and Technology of China, JINR and the Chinese Academy of Sciences on strengthening cooperation in the field of fundamental scientific research. The event took place during the visit of the delegation of the People’s Republic of China led by the Deputy Minister of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, Academician Wu Zhaohui to the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research on September 10-11, 2023.

Before the meeting the Chinese colleagues got acquainted with the scientific infrastructure of the JINR. The excursion to Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions was a part of this program. Here they were shown around the SHE Factory, got acquainted with the Laboratory remarkable achievements, current activities and future projects.
