Exotic structure studies of light neutron-rich nuclei with LACPU
In order to study the exotic structures of light unstable nuclei, we have developed a Large Acceptance Charged particle detector array at Peking University, LACPU, which is suitable for the simultaneous measurement of various different reaction channels induced by radioactive beams on protons and deuterons in inverse kinematics [1,2]. A few experiments aiming at studies of the shell evolution in N = 8 isotones [3-8], and linear-chain α cluster structures of high-lying excited states in 14,16C [9,10] have been performed with LACPU. The important experimental results, approved experimental proposals, as well as some preliminary plans at JINR with LACPU will be shown.
