Live broadcast of the OGANESSON prize on the “Scientific Russia” portal
On February 16, 2024 at 20:30 a solemn ceremony of awarding the laureates of OGANESSON Prize will take place in Moscow. The Prize was established by Academician Yuri Oganessian, Scientific Leader of the Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions JINR. The event will be held at A.S.Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts. This year’s Prize laureates are:
- Ana Maria Cetto Cramis, Professor of Physics at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), member of the JINR Scientific Council;
- Mikhail Shvydkoy, Doctor of Art History, artistic director of the Moscow Musical Theater;
- Valeria Pershina, professor of chemistry at the Helmholtz Center for the Study of Heavy Ions (GSI, Germany);
- Vasily Semin, head of the scientific and technological department of accelerators of the JINR G.N.Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions.
