Candidate of Sciences Diplomas were solemnly awarded at the JINR House of Scientists
On October 13, 2023 a solemn presentation of diplomas conferring academic degrees was held in Great Hall of the JINR House of Scientists. Two FLNR Scientific Researchers were awarded Candidate of Sciences Diplomas.
- Kirill Vladimirovich Novikov was conferred the academic degree of Candidate of Sciences (Phys.&Math.) based on the results of defending his thesis “Formation and decay of nuclear systems with Z=114, 120 in heavy ion reactions”, in specialty 1.3.5; Physics of atomic nuclei and elementary particles, High energy Physics. The defense took place at the Dissertation Council on Heavy Ion Physics at FLNR.
- Kirill Brisovich Gikal was conferred the academic degree of Candidate of Sciences (Phys.&Math.) based on the results of defending his thesis “Study of the fission properties of excited actinde nuclei in reactions with p, 16,18O,22N beams”, in specialty 1.3.5; Physics of atomic nuclei and elementary particles, High energy Physics. The defense took place at the Dissertation Council on Heavy Ion Physics at FLNR.
