LXXIV International conference Nucleus-2024: Fundamental problems and applications
On July 01, 2024 the 74th International conference on nuclear physics “Nucleus-2024”: Fundamental problems and applications opened at the BLTP JINR Conference Hall.
This is Russia’s largest traditional annual conference covering all energy ranges and aspects of modern nuclear physics.
In the first part of the plenary session the key reports on the development of FLNR accelerator complex, new experimental data on the study of SHE isotopes and the direction of exotic nuclei physics were presented. FLNR staff members: Vasiliy Semin, head of the scientific and technical accelerator department, Leonid Grigorenko, chief scientific researcher and Nikita Kovrizhnykh, junior research scientist told about development of experimental setups and the results obtained from them.
FLNR presents the research in the field of low energy physics in two directions: production and study of superheavy nuclei and study of exotic light nuclei; theoretical talks on these directions will be presented as well.
