FLNR ACCELERATOR COMPLEXES

    SPECIAL DEVELOPMENTS

  • DC-72 - Accelerator complex was created for the Cyclotron Center of the Slovak Republic within the limits of international cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Slovak Republic. DC-72 cyclotron unique parameters give a good opportunity for wide-ranging applied research:
    • production of radioisotopes for nuclear medicine;
    • radiation medicine;
    • new composite materials, material properties modification, unique track membranes;
    • basic research

  • DC-60 - DC-60 accelerator complex was created for Interdisciplinary research complex (IRC, Astana, Kazakhstan) to deal with the fundamental problems of physics, chemistry and a wide range of advanced technologies. This complex is based on DC-60 heavy ion accelerator developed and created by joint efforts of the Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions of JINR and the Nuclear Physics Institute of the National Nuclear Center of Kazakhstan

  • DC350 - This new accelerator complex project with unprecedented ion beam parameters is designed for the synthesis of superheavy elements of the Periodic Table with the atomic numbers from 112 up to 124. Complex conception was developed in the Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions of JINR in cooperation with the Nuclear Physics Institute of the National Nuclear Center of Kazakhstan

  • DC2.5 - Cyclotron complex is designed for the following methods of proton beam analysis of materials:
    • RBS (Rutherford Backscattering Spectrometry)
    • PIXE (Proton Induced X-ray Emission)
    • NRA (Nuclear Reaction Analysis)
    • PES (Proton Elastic Scattering)

  • DC-110 - Heavy ion isochronous cyclotron was put into operation in late December 2012. It was designed and created at the FLNR JINR for production of track membranes at BETA scientific industrial complex
